Skincare
Serums
This Vitamin C serum brightens that dull, dry winter skin. It also helps eliminate dark spots! I use this in the morning with hyaluronic acid serum (seen below) under my moisturizer.
I’ve been using this stuff all winter, and I’m not stopping now! It helps keep my skin hydrated and plump. I use it both in the morning and evening under my moisturizer.
I use this serum 3x a week in the evening to reduce acne, correct dark spots, and even my skin texture.
Sunscreen
I love this sunscreen! It absorbs without any cast, is sweat and water resistant, and it filters UVA, UVB, and IRA rays. As someone who has had basal cell carcinoma, I refuse to compromise when it comes to SPF.
Bronzing Drops
I just started adding these drops to my winter foundation. Not only do they help me transition my foundation for spring - they also have antioxidants to protect skin against pollution.
Self-Tanner
I can’t wait to try this self tanner! As a very pale person, I struggle to find self tanners that don’t turn me into an Oompa Loompa. The reviews on this one look very promising - I’ll keep you all updated on how it works out!
Makeup
Eyeshadow
This is, hands down, the best palette I have ever owned - and I have about twenty! The colors blend so well with my pink undertones, the shadows are pigmented, and the shades easily transition from day to night.
Mascara
This is my holy grail mascara! The wand covers every lash, it doesn’t rub off throughout the day, and it’s easy to remove with soap and water. I have tried much more expensive mascaras, but I always come back to this one.
Brows
This is my favorite brow pencil. The tip is the perfect size for camouflaging those sparse spots in my brows. They also have the perfect shade for my hair - I buy the taupe color.
Foundation
I love that this skin tint has SPF, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and squalane! It also gives me a dewy, glowing complexion. A little goes a long way, too; I only use one to two drops and apply it to my face with a dense makeup brush.
Concealer
This is my holy grail concealer. It stays put all day long, and it comes in so many shades. I’ve tried more expensive concealers, but this one beats them all.
Blush
I am so obsessed with this cream blush that I have hit pan on mine and need to buy more! It’s so dewy and beautiful. I will purchase this until Bobbi Brown doesn’t make it anymore!
Bronzer & Contour
I’ve had this palette for a while now, and I love it because it offers shades for all seasons. I use the light contour in winter, the medium contour in spring and summer, and the deep contour for my body when I have a spray tan. I also don’t like super shimmery highlighters, and this palette has highlights both with and without shimmer.
Illuminator
This lotion offers the most amazing glow! Like I said before, I don’t like a ton of shimmer - and this offers dewy skin without all the glitter that some highlighters contain. I’ve used this on my cheekbones, nose, and collarbones for a gorgeous sheen.
Lipgloss
I cannot wait to try this gloss! It has hyaluronic acid to plump lips, and the price is really affordable. I bought the “Ice” shade and will let you know how it compares to some other lip glosses and oils on the market.
Haircare
Shampoo & Conditioner
If you purchase anything on this list, let it be this shampoo and conditioner combo. This stuff has saved my hair! I used to get highlights pretty frequently, and I had a ton of breakage and split ends. I use this combo every other day to repair my hair, and I swear by it! My hair feels softer, thicker, and is longer than ever. I’ve purchased this duo at least five times. Even the more expensive salon brands just do not compare.
Leave-In Conditioner & Heat Protectant
As someone with super fine hair, I used to run from leave-in conditioners because they would make my hair look greasy. My sister bought this one for me, and I absolutely love it! It protects my hair from heat, detangles, and leaves my hair feeling super soft and looking shiny. 10/10 - I’ll be buying this again!
Mousse for Waves
During the spring and summer, I try not to use heat on my hair. I have naturally wavy, fine locks, but I don’t like to use typical mousses or gels because they make my hair feel stiff and crunchy. This mousse is so light, easy to use, and it enhances my waves while reducing frizz! I just gently brush my hair with a wide-tooth comb, run this mousse through my hair, and use a microfiber towel to scrunch my waves. It works every time!
